V6 Storage Estimator |
 |

The Storage Estimator and Model Number
Configurator is a tool that allows you to evaluate the impact on the Rapid Eye
Multi-Media (REMM) system while storing Video, Audio and Data in the Remote
Unit. The configurator also generates a model number that represents the product
most suitable for your application.
Storage Estimation: The tool is broken
down into three sections:
|
Section 1 - Video
Recording |
|
|
Each camera is individually definable for
camera type, ips, quality level and motion detection. You can also define
a "Default Configuration" and load that on to as many cameras as you
choose by defining the Default Configuration and then pressing the "Set
Default Configuration" button.
Once a default configuration is loaded, you
can still set the individual camera settings to fine-tune your estimate.
You can also reset back to the default configuration at any time by
pressing the "Set Default Configuration" button again. |
|

|
|
Section 2 - Audio
Recording |
|
|
Consists of four check boxes, "Listen & Talk" for each
channel. Simply click in the appropriate box to enable the settings
desired. |
|

|
|
Section 3 - Data
Recording |
|
| Consists of four check boxes, one for each
possible POS channel. Simply click in the appropriate number of boxes to
enable the setting desired. The pull-down menu below each box allows you
fine-tune the estimate based on the Characters/Second for each data
channel. |
